Gratitude Sunday

Hmmmm so it's been a few weeks! Time certainly does fly.

This week I am grateful for:

- My new calling at church working with the Primary kids

- Seeing my family this weekend

- Celebrating my little bro turning 18

- Daily photo challenge

- Extra work

- Getting to go to Sydney this coming weekend!

- Celebrating Lewie and Katrina's love...via a reception :D

- 'Date' night with Cat

- Good food

- Daylight savings...despite the 1hr less sleep I got

What are you grateful for this week?

I also sang that title...he he :D

I pretty much sing most things...especially if I know a song has that line or title.

So anyway...moving right along.

Today marks 7 days until I turn 21...21!

Then I will be legal in all countries of the world.

Not that it really makes a difference for me as I don't drink, but it sounds fun to say.

So what did I do today? Well I have decided to rearrange my room and redecorate (as best as I can in a rental we can't really do much with). 

I am also working both of my jobs...

This just makes me sounds all grown up...I think I need to get some childish things done in the next week :D

I am going to have fun with my birthday week.

Christmas Week: Day 4

Today was a special day as it was Jess's Birthday!!

So I got her flowers...as she just LOVES them!

and Kat and I decorate her bed as well :D

and celebrated with a BBQ at her parents tonight. Also got some yummy ice-cream cake thanks to her Mum :D 

But I also did something Christmassy! Couldn't help it...

I have started wrapping presents!

Trying to be a little creative this year. Saw these ideas on Pinterest! Well through other people from Pinterest. Can't remember where sorry! 

How are you wrapping your presents this year? Just buying the wrapping paper and getting it done? Or trying to change it up and be creative?

Happy Birthday Darcey!

Today was my little niece's birthday and unfortunately I missed it.

But my SIL Jay made an awesome cake :D

I wish I could have tasted it! I bought her a little present before I left and I am yet to find out what she thought of it. 

Oh I love my family! 

The Semester is coming to a close

so I apologise for the lack of blogging.

This time of year is always stressful for me...and I am really feeling it this semester! 

It's hard coming back after a break...but I made my bed and so I lay in it.

I currently live in a vicious cycle of eat, sleep, work and try to study.

Luckily I was able to go home for a quick visit over the weekend for my little bro's birthday. 

The cake was awesome :D Nice work Jay! 

My niece is adorable and I hate not seeing her more. Here she is singing a 'song' for Uncle Ryan :D 

Family make everything better...I wish they lived closer!

Oh and My UBS (un-biological sister) is back! YAY! :D

Now to get some sleep and try to be productive tomorrow...wish me luck! 

Gratitude Sunday

Firstly Happy Father's Day!! :D Especially my own dad, aka Papa Smurf and my Heavenly Father.

This week I am grateful for:

- Skype sessions with my family, even if my niece does crack it because she's sick and my brother does weird things.

- Dancing sessions in the lounge room to random songs

- Cookies!! Taste so good, but so bad for you 

- The spider on the wall above the shower not crawling down!

- Spring! 

- Jess and my new tradition of toasting seasons :D

- Getting to celebrate Nelly's birthday

- Taking a trip around Hobart on a double decker bus and realising I have so much to explore right here

- Starting a Christmas project for a family member

- Getting extra work, such a blessing!

- The primary kids...they are too cute!! Well most of the time :P

- Sleep! I am forever grateful for that!

- Reminders

- Opportunities to face my fears, like getting 5 mins notice to teach a lesson in YSA sunday school

- A very nice e-mail from a friend and follower...you know who you are :D

- LIFE! :D

Eventful Day!

Firstly it was Nelly's birthday today!! YAY! Happy 21st Nelly :D 

To celebrate, I took her on a little 'British' themed adventure.

We:

- Went on the Double Decker Bus tour around Hobart

which included:

~ British flags to waved around...made by yours truly

~ Random British facts

~ An umbrella...just in case it rained duh!
Secretly pretending we we really in England :D

- Ate British Candy

- Had scones with our lunch (mine the English Breakfast :D)

That girl is in LOVE with Britain! Loved her face when she found out what we were doing :D

Then tonight from 3-10pm I was working...2 different jobs.

First the kids, then Pizza Delivery.

Got $10.50 in tips! :D Helping out again. I think the store manager wants to hire me...

Also got my car stuck on a retaining wall on the last delivery...LONG story :P

Then Jess and I started a new tradition tonight of 'toasting' each season...literally :D

We are bringing out the Fronti for the first day of each season!

oh yeah...and I named my Mac... Eve :D Because she has a bitten apple on the front...get it :D

Masquerade! Paper faces on parade!

MJ's 21st Masquerade ball was on Saturday and I had a really fun time. My feet were sore though so I didn't do as much dancing as I normally would.

I love my bestie...and pulling funny faces....like this:

In honour of my besties 21st birthday...

We went to Richmond :D

Apparently she's always wanted to go there...so we did.

We got our free fun, dorkiness on and had a blast! :D

Including:

- Picnic lunch...with a bazillion ducks and seagulls trying to steal our food

- Frolicking in the car park

- Shopping...while taking pictures of each other

- and an EPIC game of chess...which I won :P he he

Did I mention Amanda's sweet dance moves on the chessboard??...no?? Well see for yourself!

You want to be our friend now don't you?!...come on...admit it!

We're awesome...but shhhh...we can't have everyone moving to Tassie to be our friends.
