The Shine Project - Secrets Revealed!

Ashley over at The Shine Project has been working on a secret project for a couple of months now and I get to be one of the lucky bloggers to help reveal it and spread it around the world.

What, you may ask is this project....?

WELL...

Pass It Forward was designed to get people to do little things, everyday, that makes an impact on the community around them. Pass it Forward is designed around a card (read card that I've attached now so you understand). Each card is given a unique ID number. Lets say we're at McDonalds, and I decide to pay for the person behind me in the drive through. I'd give the cashier the card, and tell them to pass it along to the next car when the give them the food that has been paid for. I then go home and log into the website that was on the card, and find my unique ID number. I log into it, and add my information... My first name, city, and a description of what I did....

Let's say the person behind me was you, you would pass it forward to someone else, and then would go home and do the same thing. 

From the very beginning, you will be able to track where your card goes, and how many people you affect just by doing one simple act of kindness.

My card will hopefully be arriving soon and as soon as I get it I am hoping to pass it forward to someone else. So if you can think of an awesome idea for me to do then please let me know in the comments.

The Ultimate Gift

I just finished watching this movie:

WOW. I loved it! It sounds corny but it made me want to change...I saw that it was adapted from a book, so...

I ordered it off Book Depository. I am so excited!

I don't like giving away stories...so I can't say too much...

What I will say is that it has been an interesting contrast. It has made me realise that I need to go after my dreams and to help others as much as possible.

I love when movies or books or quotes etc can really make you think about things...not just skim the thoughts, but REALLY think about my life and what I can achieve.

So go...watch the movie. I can guarantee you'll love it...and if you don't...try watching it again :P

Spreadin joy...one bag at a time

Another few Random Acts of Kindness performed last week :D They were personal, involved a little sweet and a little card to let them know we care. Who wouldn't want a little goodies bag dropped off at their door?

Just Spreadin' the love...that's all I'm sayin :D

Random Acts...

It is my goal for the next little while...and the rest of my life... to do random acts of kindness for others.

So far this week I have "decorated" a friends car and left them lollies and tonight my friend Jess and I made a little package for another friend tonight. Hope it makes him smile :D
