In a world that focuses so heavily on the negativity that surrounds us, this video was an amazing breath of fresh air. I loved this video.

I love that it shows that despite what people think, there are still a lot of good people in this world.
Stereotypes define too many people.
I hate people putting me into a box and deciding who I am.
Let's break the moulds and be better people :D

The Background story

Everyone has one.

Sometimes we let people see our background story and be part of it.

Other times we hide that part of our selves.

Getting to know people is one of my favourite things about life.

Learning the ins and outs of a person allows you to connect with them. 

I saw this video over at The Wiegands blog.

I was really excited to watch it because I've seen Lisa Leonard's jewellery before, but love learning

the story behind the person as well.

My brother Rhys and I were looking through a bunch of magic videos, and then he showed me this card trick one.

How he does that...I have no idea, but it is brilliant!
All I want to do is go and see a comedy or magic show now.
If only Penn and Teller did shows in Australia!!

Hallmark Movies

I've been a fan of Hallmark movies for a while and this week I watched a couple of them.

They were:

Finding a Family

and A Walk in My Shoes.



I love Hallmark movies because they're light and easy viewing.
I don't expect amazing quality and I love when they're based on a true story.
These two were both pretty good.
I especially liked Finding a Family because it was based on a true story and stories about determined people are always interesting to me.

Do you have a favourite Hallmark movie?
I don't think I could choose just one myself...

The Lucky One

This comes out tomorrow and I can't wait to see it!
I really need to read the book too. 

Survivor

Are you a fan? Do you watch it?

I love the show. Not so much for the people, but I love the challenges! 

I have been following along with this season...here are the contestants this time around.

Some of them I really can't stand...and thankfully a few of them are gone already.

This show is in it's 13th year, with the current season being its 24th, with a supposed 2 more seasons
still to come.

After thinking about the show for a bit I spent WAY TOO MUCH time looking up various videos of challenges, tribal councils, twists etc

I love it all! A bit too much drama most of the time, but if I were an American citizen I would totally try out for it! 

Seriously look a few up if you like the show...there is some hilarious and awesome stuff out there!

Oh and check out the Wikipedia page...it has SO much information.

It hurts just a little too much

This song is exactly how I feel at the moment. Not in the romantic kind of love, but in the friendship kind.

Sometimes it hurts a little too much, but I want to risk it all to get it back.
The next few weeks are going to be torture.
I just hope it'll be enough.

That is NOT ok!

Today I saw this on Ellen.

I couldn't believe what sort of things these bullies did to that young boy.

I know that bullying happens, don't get me wrong, but I will never understand why people

can be so cruel to others. 

Bullying is NOT OK! I have experienced it in my own life and know just how

cruel people can be. Sometimes they're even your friends.

We can't just say, kids will be kids. Because it's not ok to bring others down. 

Especially making comments to someone about killings themselves because no one would care and

it would be better if they were gone.

That is not true. Every person is important. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

No matter wether we have differing opinions, skin colour, races etc. We ALL matter!

So I want to challenge you to compliment and uplift someone else in the next 24 hours.

A compliment unsaid is such a waste. 

Look for an opportunity to compliment someone.

Seek it out if you have to.

We all deserve to feel like we are wanted and loved...because we are!

Friday Night Lights

So I'm on Season 3...needless to say I am loving this series :D

I finally found a place to watch it online so I can see it all! Victory for me.
I am slightly addicted to some of the story lines...just slightly. 

Here's a little pep talk for ya!

One thing I don't really and probably never will understand is all the hype around American Football.
It's so part of life it seems. I think it's great to bring a community together and all,
but there seems to be so much pressure surrounding it too.

So, my question to you is...What is it about football?

I mean, our Aussie boys love their AFL, but not in the same way that Americans seem to love football.

Clear eyes, Full hearts, Can't lose!

The film clip however is really random and I will never understand what

it has to do with the song...

Bachelor - Courtney

Do you watch The Bachelor? I do, but this season is kinda annoying me.
I also don't like some of the things that have happened and don't like Ben as much as I did before.
The nasty girl Courtney is portrayed as such a horrible person, but it seems she's actually like that in real life too...shame.

Anyway, please enjoy this random and funny video I've watched too many times today :D

Wing's WIldlife Park...a video

Today I spent time at Wing's Wildlife Park with my family.

Here is just a quick video until I can write a proper post about the family weekend later.

My little brother is hilarious!! and that bird seriously loved him!

I think I've watched this video a few too many times because it is just too funny!

New Year's Eve...the movie

Saw it tonight and absolutely loved it!

I liked it much better than Valentine's Day.

Take a quick look at the trailer if you haven't seen it

One of the best lines from the movie is:

"What is one thing you would do if you knew you would not fail? Now go out and do it"

This movie reminded me that many things are possible. Not just in the movies, but in our everyday lives.
If we really want something, we have to go out and work hard for it.

It prompted me to keep going with the goals that I have and to find the motivation that will keep me going. I don't want to start strong to only fall short later.

It also added being in New York for New Year's Eve to my bucket list.
A-Mazing!

Basketball...

Not a usual topic for me, but I came across a video tonight that I couldn't help but share.

It is an amazing story and you have to watch the video to believe it...

How amazing was that??!!

I loved the reaction of the crowd when the coach pointed to Jason!
and even better was the reaction after each shot!!

This video just made my day 10x better!! :D
