"Treasure" hunt

I look after kids...it's kinda what I do...A LOT...but I LOVE it :D

Last Thursday I had 2 of the kids I look after and decided to make things a little exciting for them and go on a type of treasure hunt. (I want to organise a proper one with clues and stuff for soemone but don't know who...maybe a secret birthday celebration?? Ooooo I like it :D)

One day I randomly spotted this on a street sign outside my house...

Thought nothing of it for a while, then one day I noticed another one on a different sign then...you know how you notice something and then automatically notice similar things...I started seeing them in all sorts of places around my neighbourhood, so to try and find as many as I could I enlisted the help of Jas and Ethan.

I didn't know how they'd take it but they had SO much more fun than I thought they would...thank goodness....

We ended up finding about 18 of these 'things' on street signs, telegraph poles and even a tree. Someone went to some serious effort to create this cute as little things and then took the time to actually attach them all around the places is dedication! They would have had to sew them on because you can't just slip them on. Serious dedication right there! Props to them! Made my day :D
I think they add a nice little bit of colour to the neighbourhood. Just a few pics...

wow. thats cool as. there was some art thing in Launie recently (I think) and someone had done something similar to poles up there.. maybe it's the same person.. is there some art thing coming to Hobart? I have no idea, but yes, they are extremely awesome!

Thanks for allowing me some entertainment while I procrastinate my assignment!

p.S verification word is psillons - maybe that is how many knitted things there are around your neighbourhood.... hmm..
